Geosynthetics for highway edge drainage.

Updated: Oct 25

Efficient water evacuation is a must at the sides of roads and highways to make sure rainwater is moved in a fast and efficient manner. The use of findrain-type geosynthetic systems provides a highly efficient alternative to traditional gravel drainage trenches. The geotextile wrap prevents the intrusion of sand and dirt into the system, and the drainage core provides a high water-flow capacity. A findrain system requires no supply of gravel and rock, is space saving as only a narrow trench is required to install the system, and the water flows achieved are a lot higher than those of traditional aggregate drainage systems.
